Interview with the GW4 Premier League Winner: Honza “Róza” Rozmahel
Published on:
The winner of Gameweek 4 of the FanYield Premier League Squad tournament is Honza Rozmahel, known among players as Róza. In this short interview, he shares his journey into fantasy, his favorite players, and what FanYield means to him.
Fantasy Beginnings & Experience
How long have you been playing fantasy and how did you get into it?
“I’ve been playing fantasy pretty much since it first appeared here. I’ve tried a lot of different versions, and with some of them I’m honestly sad they ended – I was doing well and the rewards were nice. I’ve always loved prediction contests, so fantasy came at the right time when my favorite Superliga competition ended years ago. FanYield feels like another level, even though I’m still in the getting-to-know-it phase.”
Do you have experience with other fantasy games?
“Yes, plenty. I enjoy comparing what works where. FanYield is a new kind of experience for me.”

Process & Strategy
How do you build your lineup for a tournament?
“I don’t have any special routine. Since I was diagnosed with leukemia, I actually have more time for fantasy – and even if you can’t do much, at least you can keep yourself entertained. And when you succeed, it makes you feel better again.”
What do you look at most when picking players?
“Mostly current form, with an eye on the opponent’s strength.”
Do you change your strategy between the Czech League and the Premier League?
“No, I stick to the same approach.”
Players & Key Moments
Who has been your standout player this season?
“In the Czech league, Kušej. In the Premier League, it’s of course the ever-reliable Haaland.”
And who disappointed you the most?
“Wirtz. But I believe he’ll settle in and improve.”
FanYield & Personal Favorites
Which player/asset is your favorite on FanYield?
“Haaland. He’s just a pure sniper.”
What do you enjoy the most about FanYield?
“Comparing myself to others. I’m just naturally competitive.”
Football Passion
What’s your favorite team?
“I don’t have one single favorite club. I support good football – games that are fun to watch. At home I’ve got jerseys, mugs, keychains, mini kits, and other stuff from different clubs that I like and wish success to. In every league there are several of them.”
🎉 Congratulations to Róza on winning Gameweek 4, and thanks for such an open and honest interview. Wishing you lots of strength for the challenges ahead – both in fantasy and beyond!
