Best Stacks for GW6 Premier League

Published on:

Gameweek 6 in the Premier League is all about smart combinations. It’s not enough to just pick the favorites – you need to build stacks that multiply points, whether through goals, assists, or key passes. We looked at projected team goals and the top-performing FanYield fantasy players to highlight the best stacks for this round.

1. Manchester City (2.8x projected goals vs Burnley, H)

Stack of the Week: Haaland (59.8 FPT, 6 goals) + Foden
Haaland remains a must-pick, but Jérémy Doku (38.2 FPT) has now broken into the top 40 – making him an interesting cheaper differential.
Tip: Pair Haaland with a creative mid, or try a defensive stack with Ederson + Dias.

2. Tottenham Hotspur (2.1x vs Wolves, H)

Stack: Kudus + Richarlison (58.8 FPT, 3 goals)
Spurs have two forwards in the top 40 – Richarlison and Kudus (58.6 FPT). That’s a perfect opportunity for a double attacking stack.
In midfield, you could also take a punt on Xavi Simons, though his minutes carry some risk.

3. Chelsea (1.95x vs Brighton, H)

Stack: João Pedro (68.0 FPT, 2 goals) + Caicedo (70.9 FPT, 2 goals)
Chelsea currently have four players in the top 40 (Caicedo, João Pedro, Chalobah, Fernández). Brighton play open football but concede heavily → ideal conditions for points.
Note: Palmer aggravated a groin injury and will be sidelined for at least 4 weeks.

4. Liverpool (1.85x vs Crystal Palace, A)

Stack: Salah (44.0 FPT, 2 goals) + Gakpo (63.6 FPT, 1 goal)
Liverpool boast four players in the top 40: Gakpo, Gravenberch (60.6 FPT, 2 goals), Ekitike (52.9 FPT, 3 goals) and Salah. That allows for plenty of stack combinations.
Ekitike will miss out due to suspension (two yellows in the EFL Cup).
High-upside stack: Salah + Isak.

5. Nottingham Forest (1.7x vs Sunderland, H)

Stack: Gibbs-White + Neco Williams (43.6 FPT, 1 goal)
Sunderland’s defense is weak → Gibbs offers guaranteed minutes while Neco Williams can build on the hype after scoring last week.

6. Manchester United (1.7x vs Brentford, A)

Stack: Bruno Fernandes (68.1 FPT, 2 goals) + Mbeumo
United are still relying on individual displays. Fernandes is the clear anchor, with an attacking partner slot going to Mbeumo.

7. Everton (1.7x vs West Ham, H)

Stack: Dewsbury-Hall + Tarkowski
West Ham struggle defending corners, so it makes sense to pair Everton’s biggest set-piece threat with their key delivery man.
Everton surprisingly have four players in the top 40: Grealish (81.9 FPT), Ndiaye, Dewsbury-Hall, and Garner.

Differential Stacks

  • Aston Villa (1.5x vs Fulham, H): Watkins + Rogers (outside top 40, but great matchup). Warning: Villa sucks this year :)
  • Arsenal (1.5x vs Newcastle, A): Timber (60.3 FPT, 2 goals) + Saka.
  • Bournemouth (1.42x vs Leeds, A): Semenyo (63.3 FPT, 3 goals) + Scott.

Summary

  • Top stack GW6: Manchester City (Haaland + mid) – highest projected goals, biggest upside.
  • Most in-form players in the top 40: Chelsea (4x), Liverpool (4x), Everton (4x) – their combos could swing tournaments.
  • Differentials: Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth.
